Virtual Observatory Services
The Web is the
World's best telescope! The seeing is great and the sky is always dark.
Observations at all accessible wavelengths are readily available for scientific
analyses and/or browsing around. The US Virtual Astronomical Observatory, a.k.a. the VAO,
and 16 more member projects of the International Virtual Observatory
Alliance are hard at work to make online data more accessible. For more
information on the standards that define
uniform interfaces to all datasets, visit the IVOA
website and get involved today.
On these pages you will find a selection of VO tools and services as well as
corresponding software packages developed by researchers at The Johns
Hopkins University. Click here to get started now.
